This morning was such a beautiful morning in St. George that I couldn't resist going for a run.  I left the house at Sun Brook and headed South and ran to the Snow Canyon Ball Park got a drink in the drinking fountain and headed back to the house.  I was tempted to keep on running, how ever it was Sunday and I didn't want to be away from the family for to long, plus the sun was starting to get high in the sky and HOT.  I felt a lot better today than I did on Friday morning, legs felt awesome and breathing was very easy today.  I hope for a good week so  will be ready for Hobble Creek.

We left St George and drove out on the course and picked up our water bottles from friday and saturday, and decided to drive the rest of the course.  There was a lot of the course that I had forgotten about.  I am glad that we went and scoped the first 7 miles out there was a lot that we didn't remeber.

Sounds like a great run Tyler. Nice pace too by the way. You're going to do great at Hobble Creek, I'm thinking somewhere in the 1:15-1:20 range.

I sure hope things go well. What are your plans for wednesday morning? I have no meetings that day, so I can run when ever? Let me know. You should be in that same range.. 1:15 - 1:20

Tyler Wednesday I'll be pacing Kim on a tempo run. However tomorrow if you're interested I'll probably be running a 7-8 mile MP or HMP tempo run along the SF 1/2 marathon course starting at tree-line road, up past Zephyr and looping at the base of Harry's and back to tree-line. Depending on how I feel I'll likely stick a 1/2 mile rest/jog/walk in the middle to catch my breath. Not sure how I'll be feeling so the pace could be anywhere from 6:15 to 7:00. If you're interested let me know and we can figure out a meeting time.

On paper a sub-1:20 should be doable for me at Hobble, but with the lingering injury situation I've been dealing with, and it being a high mileage week for me I've decided to run it as a marathon-pace tempo run, at least the first 6 miles. If I happen to be feeling good at that point I'll try and push to the finish and shave some minutes, but mostly likely I'll finish in the 1:20-1:25 range, probably closer to 1:25 if my recent runs/races are any indication.
