We got in late last night, so we didn't get to bed until midnight.  I had planned on getting on the road by 5 am and driving out to Dameron Valley and run towards the start of the course and then turn around and run back.  How ever I didn't even leave the house huntil 5:30 am plus I was still feeling a little fatigued from wednesday.  I decided to park at snow canyon and run out 5 miles and turn around and come back.  It took almost 5 miles for my left hip to loosen up, and my quad was a little stiff as well.  I felt a lot better on the way back to the car, so hopefully tomorrow will be a lot better.  It ws 82 degrees when I started running and 84 when I got back to the car. We have it pretty good up north for our early morning runs.  It will be a lot better for our last long run on the course in September.

Shoot, you're in St. G. I was hoping we could convince you to do our Hobble Creek workout tomorrow. I'm jealous you get to run the St. G course, though. It's so beautiful and a great way to prep for the marathon.

That does sound like a lot of fun and I am sure it will be a lot cooler there than here. I will have to do the course next saturday instead. There are more water bottles along that stretch of road than there is in Costco. It would be fun to train on that course more. Good luck on Saturday!

That's a very nice run on little sleep with a fatigued body. That shows great dedication and it will bring you to the next level.
