Got a late start this morning so I needed to run short and some what quick.  I ran a .5 mile warm up and then decided that I would run a 5 mile tempo @ marathon pace.  I think that my marathon pace depending on the course is some where between 6:30-6:45ish.  My average pace today was 6:36 and this was with a slow first mile.  I always seem to run faster towards the end of my runs compared to the start.

Wow, see what that extra sleep can do for you? All this time you thought I liked to take the later shift because I have a hard time getting up early..... Now you know the truth :). Very impressive pace Honey, some day I hope to be able to run at the same pace as you! Maybe when we are in our 50's??
