Let's see if I remember how to do this?????  Man it has been a long time since I have posted a run.  Finally work is slowing down a bit and so I should have more time to blog!

Today was the first time running since the marathon.  I felt better than I thought I would, just a couple of aches and pains in the legs but nothing to bad.   I ran into Michelle and Mac on Canal road, said hi for a second and then continued on with the 5 mile square.  I feel like I have to get permission from Kellie and the Heidi's to run "their" course??  I was feeling good after 3 so I decided to throw in some quicker miles.  Mile 4 6:48, mile 5 6:43.  It felt really good to get out and run, I really have missed it this week.  My plan is to try and hit 40 miles a week for a while and just try and have fun with running, not be so serious.

See you tomorrow

This morning I ran up to the Woodland Hills mail boxes via Loafer Cyn.  I felt really good today on the up hill portion and I slowed it down on the down hill.  I ran the 2 down hill at 6:40 and then the last 1 mile on the flat I ran at 6:50.  Still some leg fatigue but for the most part things are feeling great.  My back has not bugged me at all for the last 2 weeks so that is a plus!  I hope the weather allows me to get out in the morning or it will be a long 6.2 on the treadmill!

Ran another 6.2 today.  This run today was all over Salem.  I really liked this route and I will run it more often.  It did get warm today, I had to shed a shirt and run in a tank and sleeves.  Legs are feeling better everyday, and my lungs feel awesome too.  I am having a real urge to go run a race, but I know that I need to hold off for a while.
