IT was frigid this morning.  I ran up to the mailboxes and back home.  It finally warmed up after mile 2, and then it got kind of hot.  Legs can still feel the marathon from 2 weeks ago.

60 min of P90X Core Synergistics.  Very good workout, I like this one the best because it is fast moving and you get a great core workout.  Great for when it is below 0 outside!!  bbbbbbrrrrrrr

P90X, chest, shoulders and triceps.  It is still way to cold to go out and run, and I hate the treadmill.  It is really nice walking from the bedroom to the living room to workout.

Got out the door at 8:00 am and ran on really bad roads.  The first 2 miles were bad but then last 3 were really bad.  I had on Yak Traks and everything and I was still sliding around.  I had planned on going 6 but I cut it a mile short.  I hope the roads clear up this week so I can get out on Tues and Thursday.

I actually got out this morning and ran!!!  It felt great and the weather was awesome. I actually overdressed.  I wanted to run a 3 mile warm up and then do a 2000M and see how my body would perform.  I didn't think that I could keep it under a 6:00 min pace because my lack of training since Oct.  I started on Canal Road and ran back towards my house.  This is a fairly flat road, so I feel like this was pretty accurate.  I started the first .25 @ 5:51 and I was actually trying to slow down but I was feeling good.  I hit the mile at 5:47 and then I started with some stomach issues but I was able to push through and finished in 7:12:?? 5:45 ave pace.  I was really surprised that I was able to keep it under 6:00 pace.  I have not done any speed work since Sept and I have not ran more that 12 times since Oct 2nd.  I did run a Marathon in Nov, but I thought that I was a lot more out of shape.  I really need to get back, I want to run well in May at Ogden.
