I actually got out this morning and ran!!!  It felt great and the weather was awesome. I actually overdressed.  I wanted to run a 3 mile warm up and then do a 2000M and see how my body would perform.  I didn't think that I could keep it under a 6:00 min pace because my lack of training since Oct.  I started on Canal Road and ran back towards my house.  This is a fairly flat road, so I feel like this was pretty accurate.  I started the first .25 @ 5:51 and I was actually trying to slow down but I was feeling good.  I hit the mile at 5:47 and then I started with some stomach issues but I was able to push through and finished in 7:12:?? 5:45 ave pace.  I was really surprised that I was able to keep it under 6:00 pace.  I have not done any speed work since Sept and I have not ran more that 12 times since Oct 2nd.  I did run a Marathon in Nov, but I thought that I was a lot more out of shape.  I really need to get back, I want to run well in May at Ogden.

Really, that cuck in the air made for a good run??

You are super human! I am so proud of myself when I can run 1/10th of a mile at a 6:15 pace!

Have a great week and Christmas! I hope you got Kelly something really good!!!

NICE run plus speedwork! Everyone keeps talking about this bad air. I guess it's too dark for me to see in the morning. Is it bad at Salem?

I hope you got something extra extra extra nice for Kellie too! Have a GREAT holiday and Christmas with your cute little family!
