Ran 10 miles to with rich today!  I was feeling good and then about mile 8 I got  a pain in my left knee, right under the knee cap.  It is pretty sore, it seems to happen around mile 8 lately.  It never hurt during Boston or before, it might be from running on the track???  I am going to lay low this week and run only 5-6 miles and then try 13 on Sat and then hopefully I can run Ogden half ok on the 15th.

Hope you get feeling better. Might not be ITband, but I'm no expert.

That is no good with your knee. Take my advice (8 years running now) just take it easy for a but and slowly get back into things. It's not worth it grinding your body when it hurts somewhere. You are a superb runner Tyler and you still have lot's of time left to rock the races :)

I am going to bike tonight and hopefully workout on my parents rowing machine tomorrow and then bike again on Sat. Rest on Monday and then get a cortisone shot on Tuesday and try running on Thursday, if I have pain I will NOT run the Ogden Half. I don't like this being hurt stuff, it actually kind of sucks. I have only been running for 3 years and never had an injury. I have been waiting for this, so I will try yo smile and wave!! Thanks for the support guys!

Sorry to here about the knee Tyler but I echo Lily's advice; just take it easy and let it get better. No need for a long term injury at this point;)
