Kellie ran this morning so I had to resort to using my lunch break for a good after noon jog.  Last week was crazy with starting the new position at work and trying to get settled into the new job while passing off some old responsibilities.  Evan was baptized on Saturday so there was no running on that day, so 20 miles last week total and it felt really nice.  I felt great today and really wanted to get out before tomorrow because I will be doing a longer tempo run tomorrow.  Weather was awesome today, I felt like I could have ran forever.

Wow kid! Nice jog! JOG? Ha, that is all out sprinting. :-)

Congratulations on the baptism!

I guess that it really wasn't a jog? It was more like a hurry and get some fast miles in on your lunch hour! But don't run to fast because I have a long tempo run in the morning. It was out first baptism for our small family, kind of weird. We need to go out some time, you and Kelly and my Kellie! We could even get Scott and Kelli! Wow that was kind of hard to type... Lots of Kellie's...Kelli's...Kelly's!!!

Nice job on the little jog Tyler;-) Congrats on the baptism too, those are always fun! It sounds like you have a new job, what do you do?

Keep working hard kiddo.

I am proud of you for keeping the spelling correct on each of us there Ty, Impressive!! I didn't know you were going running today, good job getting out there!! And, nice pace (someday). Hope you are having a good day at work. See you in a bit!

Clay I use to estimate highway road construction and some commercial and residential for Staker & Parson Co. I bid the job that we have been working on in Springville last year and last week they asked if I would be the Project Manager on it. It is a good change of pace and I am enjoying it so far. Bidding is tough and cheap right now.

Kellie I went home to change out of my church clothes after the funeral and thought that I better go now for lunch because tonight will be crazy.

Awe, I see!! It's beautiful weather today. Hard to be out in it and not want to run!!

Clay: I saw you out running this morning. I was with the 2 other girls on canal road heading West when you were going East, good job getting out there!

Tyler, Would be fun to go out sometime. Those first baptisms are sure fun. Sounds like you had a funeral on top of your busy weekend.

Jon a guy that I work with his mom died last Thursday. She was 84 and ready to go, his dad died 3 days before Christmas this year, so she was lonely.

Those stories always kinda make me sad. To be missing someone so much. Poor girl. But on a brighter side, cool love story and now they are together.

From TylerS on Mon, Mar 02, 2009 at 16:22:17 from 66.29.160.130

Yeah it is always sad, but it was meant to be. They actually came to her a week before Christmas and told the husband and the family that she would be gone in less than a week, and then he died first. The family figured that he didn't want to be alone so he went first and she just died last week. Now they are together and I could tell that the family was taking hers a lot better.

Those are just amazing stories. You hear them every now and then and it just amazes me every time! I'm glad they are back together.

Congrats on your son's baptism. Also congrats on the new position, sounds like you'll be pretty busy with the new project. Have you thought about coming down and running Hurricane Half?
