Met up with Michelle and ran 1 mile repeats. There was going to be more of us, but we were the only ones dumb enough to show up to do these sill things. It went actually better than I had planned with my lack of running over the last 3 months. I was able to keep up with her for 4 of them and then on #5 I fell a little behind and ran a 6:03, and then on #6 I fell way behind on the last lap and finished it in 6:09. My lungs and breathing felt great, but my legs were thrashed. The good thing is that my knee didn't hurt at all. Splits 5:58 5:59 5:58 5:56 6:03 6:09 Glad when it was finally over! |
